Goals and Objectives

The goals and objectives of the institution are stated in the constitution of the society and also published in the prospectus are as follows-

• To impart quality education to all students specially those from economically weaker background.
• To enable the female students to face the challenges and demands of taking up a career.
• To inculcate good moral values and ideal citizenship.
• To groom their personality and thought process which may help the society to have good and efficient feminine populace.

Institutional mission and goals reflected in the Curricula-

The motto of the college is �Vidya Vindate Amritum�,which means �knowledge distributes nectar". The course syllabi are provided by the Central Board of Studies of respective subjects and Academic Council of the parent University.

By strictly adhering to those and by employing effective teaching methods, the girl students are equipped with subject knowledge. The curricula are well in conformity with the institutional goals, mission and their objectives are achieved by special lectures by eminent personalities, organizing literary, cultural and academic programmes, Seminars, tours and actual practical on field training and several co-curricular activities.

The syllabus of foundation course which is compulsory for all undergraduate students includes chapters on cultural heritage, moral values and ethics and environment preservation. Value based education is given by maintaining strict discipline and organizing programmes which evoke civic sense ,besides grooming the overall personality of the students.
